Schnitzelburg Dog Walk, Oct. 3

The 2nd Annual Schnitzelburg Dog Walk will be held on Saturday, October the 3rd. It will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at 1020 East Burnett Street. The kickoff starts at 10 with a blessing of the pets, and another blessing will follow at 11. Maps will be available for self-guided walking, or come for one of the blessings, which will be followed by guided tours of the neighborhood.

This year we would like for folks to consider bringing new or gently used items for pets that will be donated to Metro Animal Services.

If anyone is interested in sponsoring or volunteering for the walk, contact jlpg01@insightbb.com and 502-457-2605.

Schnitzelburg at the Grassroots Gala

Thanks to all who visited the Schnitzelburg booth at the first annual Grassroots Gala on Friday, Sept. 11! Kelly McCarthy of The Hara Center contributed her talent by giving out free massages, and the SACC contributed Schnitzelburg stickers, newsletters and an official Dainty stick for the silent auction. Keynote speakers Tom Owen and Stephen George were inspirational, and this is sure to be an even better event next year! visit http://www.thegrassrootsgala.org/ for more information.
