Forum members of LouisvilleHotBytes.com visited Flabby's on March 7 and enjoyed the famous fried chicken, as well as other specialties like oyster cocktails and shooters, rolled oysters, fried chicken livers and pretzel sticks. Potluckin' in G-town

The German-Paristown Neighborhood Association has been hosting potlucks for the last several months and they've become quite popular! Folks bring everything from traditional yummie casseroles and fried chicken to tofu curry and home made salsa. So its veggie friendly too!
The next one is March 16th and everyone is welcome! 7pm at the Germantown Neighborhood Center, 1094 E. Kentucky St.

Jockamo's is back!

Oh, how we missed your pepperoni breadsticks, hoagies and pizza!

St Elizabeth's Delivers a Delicious Fish Fry!

You have until April 3 to try the tasty food at the St. Elizabeth's Fish Fry!

This is my fish dinner, a feast priced at a bargain $6.50 for the fish, two sides and dessert. I chose mac and cheese, green beans and coconut pie, but hush puppies, onion rings, baked apples and fries also looked appealing.

Get there early to get a good seat! 4:30-7 p.m. every Friday!

Jockamo's soon to reopen?

If you were sad like I was when Jockamo's closed, you will be happy to hear that there is a glimmer of hope. I noticed on the door of the restaurant today that the previous "on vacation" sign has been traded out for a "opening soon" sign. I hope they're not just pulling my leg!

Now if someone would just open a super awesome restaurant in the old Germantown Cafe location, Goss Avenue would be swinging again!
